■Tomu DJ
Tomu DJ is an American musician known for her music and live performances. Hailed by KEXP as “one of the standout new electronic artists of 2021 with her transcendent, uplifting, and euphoric sound”, Tomu DJ is well on the way to sharing her music with the world. She has released over forty projects.
After landing the #21 spot on Crack Magazine’s “Best Albums of 2021” list with her debut LP FEMINISTA, Tomu DJ received further acclaim with her second full length project, Half Moon Bay on Franchise Records which featured Chicago Footwork legend DJ Manny. On top of receiving a glowing 7.9 review from Pitchfork calling it one of 2022’s “most affecting electronic records”, Half Moon Bay was also featured by NPR, Resident Advisor, DJ Mag, and many more. Her recent EP Crazy Trip was praised by FACT Mag as “breaking new ground with her next strain of unorthodox genre fusion”,and named one of the best projects of the year by Mixmag.
Tomu has played DJ gigs in North America, Europe and Asia, often in support of iconic acts such as Honey Dijon, Soichi Terada, Jessy Lanza, Venus X and MikeQ. She performs either the immersive original production sets for which she is known (NTS, Crack Mix, Rinse FM), or variety sets featuring electronic music from across many genres. She will be releasing her next album this summer.

2006年に神奈川でDJを開始｡
ソリッド且つMovingなTechno | Houseが好みで､現在は主に首都圏のClubでDJ活動中。
原点回帰の意味も込めて､ここ数年は現場でもVinylのみのDJプレイに拘り､より深くダンスミュージックの世界に傾倒しようとしているFree Vinylst。
